Paul Bartlett's photographs of the Puffing Billy Railway, near Melbourne. Although only 2ft
6in narrow gauge, considerable trains run into the Mountains from Belgrave, north west of
Melbourne. Trains were only running on the lower half of the line when Paul visited. The
surroundings are beautiful and the Lakeside Park is a lovely destination, with a simple walk
back to Emerald. Two century-old 2-6-2 tank locomotives hauled his train.
